Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on Azure experience in cloud security engineering, architecture, consulting, or a related field.
• Experience leading customer-facing technical discussions with senior technical decision-makers.
• Experience developing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and customer recommendations.
• Strong understanding of Azure security architecture, including identity, networking, governance, logging, monitoring, and workload protection.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, Identity Protection, Azure MFA, and role-based access control.

Responsibilities

• Design, assess, and implement secure Microsoft cloud solutions, with a primary focus on Azure security architecture and Microsoft security services.
• Lead customer-facing workshops, architecture discussions, technical discovery sessions, and implementation planning activities.
• Evaluate cybersecurity challenges and determine how Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 security services can be used to address customer requirements.
• Provide pre-sales engineering support, including solution design, technical scoping, and support for Statements of Work.
• Architect and support Microsoft security solutions including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Purview.
• Maintain current knowledge of Microsoft cloud security technologies, cybersecurity threats, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship during delivery engagements, including architecture reviews, implementation guidance, and customer handoff.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers through technical expertise and exceptional service.

The Senior Cloud Security Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and advising customers on secure Microsoft cloud solutions, with a primary focus on Azure security architecture and Microsoft security technologies. Working closely with customers and internal teams, the Senior Cloud Security Consultant serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout pre‑sales and delivery engagements. • Experience with Kubernetes security concepts, preferably including Azure Kubernetes Service, container security, identity integration, network security, and runtime protection
