Senior Microsoft Business Central Developer

LOCATION : Anywhere in the continental US, with preference for candidates in Fargo, ND; Minneapolis, MN; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; San Ramon, CA; Menlo Park, CA; Pasadena, CA; Fresno, CA; Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Laguna Hills, CA; Irvine, CA.

WORK OPTIONS : Remote (with travel to client sites as needed)

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Business Central Developer, you will play a key role in building a Microsoft and digital transformation practice. Your expertise in Microsoft technologies such as Azure, M365, and D365, along with your business insight, will deliver value to our clients and support their digital success.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Sales and Sales Engineers to provide estimates and design solutions that meet client needs, following Microsoft and company best practices.
• Consult with clients and Business Central team members to understand complex requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and oversee their implementation.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market changes to guide strategic planning.
• Train internal teams on new features, industry trends, and successful strategies.
• Provide expertise in solution architecture, licensing, and software assessments to aid business development.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
• Lead discovery sessions and facilitate group discussions to achieve actionable outcomes.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, IT, or related field.
• Expert in Dynamics Business Central and AL development.
• 7+ years of experience working with stakeholders to define business needs and develop technology strategies.
• 5+ years of experience deploying, managing, and customizing Azure, D365/Business Central, and M365 at scale.
• Microsoft Certified Solution Architect in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Azure.
• Strong interpersonal skills with leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS components and Power Platform low/no-code tools.
• Proactive, independent, with a problem-solving approach.
• Willing to obtain additional Microsoft certifications within six months.
• Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, SQL, or R.
• Required skills: Solution architecture, Dynamics 365/Business Central, AL development.
• Preferred skills: Power Platform architecture, Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD, Azure expertise.

Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Compensation

Base salary range : $130,000 - $170,000
