Job summary

BEAR Technologies is seeking a Systems and Cloud Services Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft cloud technologies within a MSP environment. The role focuses on administering and improving Microsoft 365 environments and Azure workloads while collaborating with Security, Help Desk, and Account Management teams.

The position requires hands-on, customer-facing work and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 5+ years administering Microsoft 365 in MSP or professional settings.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer‑facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft 365 environments across Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Security & Compliance, and Purview.
• Assist in planning IT projects including onboarding, cloud migrations, tenant consolidations, and standardization.
• Deploy and upgrade Azure workloads such as virtual servers, storage, and restore point collections.
• Configure and maintain Entra Connect Sync agents in hybrid Active Directory environments.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in Microsoft 365 environments across multiple centers (mail flow, permissions, identity, device management).
• Build new client Microsoft 365 environments and perform discovery in acquired cloud environments with Security team coordination.
• Provide escalation support to Tier 1, Networking, and other teams as needed.
• Stay current with Microsoft cloud platform changes and best practices.
