Job summary

Pendulum Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Manager of Research and Development to lead key projects from early development to commercialization. You will guide cross-functional teams and ensure data-driven, regulatory-ready outputs.

The ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in microbiology or related field, 5–7 years in biopharma R&D with 2–3 years in management, and a proven record translating research into market-ready products.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• 5–7 years R&D experience in biopharma/biotech with 2–3 years in a management role.
• Track record of cross-functional collaboration and external partnerships.
• Experience generating data to support AI/ML workflows.
• Hands-on microbiome research experience.
• Experience moving products from concept to market in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of microbiome products, formulations, and delivery systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Executive, Clinical, Revenue, Data, Product) to support initiatives.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring milestones are met within budget.
• Build data analysis infrastructure aligned with Pendulum’s data science practices.
• Present progress at conferences and scientific meetings.
