Job summary

Novisync Solutions Inc. is recruiting for a microbiologist within the Indiana Department of Health Laboratory, Antimicrobial Resistance Lab Network.

The role involves coordinating and performing a full range of microbiological examinations and analyses, including culture, biochemical tests, PCR, and WGS of clinical specimens to identify bacteria and yeast. The incumbent will document QA activities according to CLIA regulations and may cross-train in other lab areas to support routine testing and

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of microbiology principles and practices.
Experience with molecular methods including PCR, sequencing, and WGS.
Familiarity with CLIA regulations and QA/QC processes.
Ability to document quality control activities and maintain records.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and perform microbiological examinations and analyses on clinical specimens.
Follow CLIA-based QA procedures; maintain accurate records and documentation.
Employ molecular techniques (PCR, sequencing, MALDI-TOF, WGS) as needed.
Maintain inventory and prepare data for epidemiological reports.
Work with safety protocols and training to support testing operations.
