You will work under the Senior Scientist, Microbial Strain Engineering, applying hands-on DNA design, assembly, and culture techniques in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (5–7 yrs) or Master’s (3–5 yrs) in Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Hands-on molecular biology experience including DNA design, isolation, and assembly.
• Strong aseptic technique and microbial culture handling; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble plasmids using modern molecular biology methods.
• Prepare competent cells and perform PCR for strains.
• Maintain microbial banks and manage experimental records.
• Collaborate with discovery, bioprocess development, and analytics teams.
