This hourly role is governed by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (Local 721) collective bargaining agreement. The ideal candidate has extensive deep brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding skills, the ability to read mechanical drawings, and to work under a microscope.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in high-volume microwave/high-tech environments.
• Must have 7+ years of brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding and gap welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform works from specifications, drawings, blueprints, test procedures, data sheets, and instructions independently.
• Mechanical assembly for HI-REL channel amplifiers.
• MIC assembly including brazing, die attach, wedge-wedge bonding, and gap welding.
• Support electrical tests during tuning.
• Interpret routers and wiring diagrams for assembly.
• Perform inspections to ensure quality.
• Disassemble/rework assemblies as needed.
• Train area personnel and support cross-training.
