Qualifications

• Seven or more years of professional experience in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in Agile software development using workflow tools and platforms such as VS Code and Gitlab.
• Experience developing embedded real-time software with C, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or Ada.
• Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds.
• Understanding of the interactions between hardware, software and system safety.
• BS with 9+ years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle.
• Leads review and translation of customer requirements into initial software designs.
• Coordinates development, maintenance, and optimization of software products for integrations.
• Leads architecture, requirements, interfaces and designs for software products.
• Debugs and drives resolution of issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Manages user inquiries and analysis of feedback.
• Leads research and implementation of current technologies and regulatory changes.
• Leads software processes, tools and KPIs aligned to goals and benchmarks.
• Leads execution and documentation of software R&D projects.
• Consults on software domains and regulatory processes.
• Leads software project management and supplier management functions.
• Tracks performance of software team and suppliers to ensure compliance.
