Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. in Everett, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Planner 4 to lead manufacturing plans, BOMs, and work instructions to define as-built configuration. You will develop concepts, plan manufacturing strategies, and prepare build analyses and cost estimates.

You will lead supplier integration and tooling management through design to end-of-use disposition. Minimum 1+ year in manufacturing, ability to read drawings, and 6+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• 6+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining manufacturing plans, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
• Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports.
• Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
• Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
• Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition.
• Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues.
• Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.
