Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in the United States seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician for the Metrology Equipment area. You will maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication tools such as 4-point probe, AFM, CDSEM, and CD Verity to ensure high uptime and process stability.

The role requires 8+ years in semiconductors, an AS/AAS preferred, excellent communication, and strong problem-solving abilities. You will work with SPC and FDC controls to improve equipment reliability, and be on-site

Qualifications

8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry required.
Minimum 5 years of experience with the Metrology/Defect area.
Education equivalence accepted.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of SPC and FDC to improve equipment performance.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the ATMC Metrology Equipment area.
Maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment in Metrology (4-point probe, AFM, CDSEM, CD Verity, Film Thickness measurement tools).
Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems; perform consumable changes and related tasks.
Complete documentation and train others on equipment maintenance.
Communicate effectively using written and verbal skills.
Stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
