Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Metrology, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated lab experience.
• Hands-on calibration, maintenance, and qualification experience.
• Familiarity with GMP/GLP, data integrity, and regulatory expectations for lab equipment.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate calibration of laboratory instruments per procedures and schedules.
• Maintain calibration standards, reference materials, and traceability to metrology bodies.
• Review calibration results, assess out-of-tolerance conditions, and support investigations.
• Maintain calibration records in the equipment management system.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with external vendors.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead or support IQ/OQ/PQ for instruments.
• Support periodic review and requalification assessments.
• Maintain equipment files, logs, certificates, and electronic records with data integrity.
• Assist audits and inspections, providing docs and technical support.
• Provide guidance to laboratory staff on proper equipment use and care.
