Job summary

Alcami Corporation in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Senior Metrologist to lead calibration and diagnostics repair of process instrumentation in pharma manufacturing and lab environments. You will handle pressure, temperature, flow, humidity and mass metrology, with knowledge of clean utilities (WFI and Clean Steam) required.

Experience with HPLC, GC and laboratory equipment is desirable. You will maintain calibration records, use computerized equipment to generate data and graphs, and ensure cGMP

Qualifications

• GMP environment experience required.
• Strong knowledge of circuits, components, analytical equipment, and instrumentation.
• Excellent mechanical, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration and repair on instrumentation for pharmaceutical laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
• Specifies and requests purchase of components.
• Utilizes several database systems.
• Analyzes results and may develop test specifications and electrical schematics.
• Maintains all logs and required documentation.
• Prepares technical reports with recommendations for solutions to technical problems.
• Reads, writes and follows SOPs.
• Writes Out-Of-Tolerances (OOTs) and Deviations.
• Disassembles and reassembles instruments and equipment, using hand tools.
• Modifies performance and operation of component parts and circuitry to specifications using test equipment.
• Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all training requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
