Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mineral processing and metallurgy, with a proven track record in process optimization.
• Expertise in comminution, flotation, leaching, or other mineral processing unit operations.
• Proficiency with metallurgical simulation software (e.g., HSC Chemistry, METSIM, GEMS) and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant operational data to identify areas for improvement in metallurgical performance (e.g., recovery, grade, throughput).
• Develop and test new process configurations, reagent schemes, and operating strategies to optimize performance.
• Utilize metallurgical simulation software to model and predict process behavior under different conditions.
