• Experience with alloy design, processing, heat treatment, and processing–structure–property relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, processing, and characterization of novel metals.
• Develop processing strategies for conventional and additive manufacturing.
• Plan experimental campaigns to validate computational predictions and refine compositions.
• Establish processing–structure–property relationships to guide material development.
• Connect composition and processing history to phase evolution and performance.
