Qualifications

• MS/PhD in a relevant field; minimum 3 years of metallurgy or advanced manufacturing experience.
• Experience designing, processing, heat treatment, and processing–structure–property relations in metallics.
• Hands-on metallurgical processing and characterization including microscopy, diffraction, and mechanical testing.
• Ability to define technical approaches, interpret results, and work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop processing strategies for conventional and additive manufacturing.
• Design and develop advanced structural alloys guided by computational tools.
• Establish processing–structure–property relationships and characterize alloys using SEM/EDS, EBSD, XRD, and mechanical testing.
