Job summary
Corning Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Solution Architect to define and deliver standardized Siemens Opcenter Execution solutions across Corning’s global manufacturing network.

Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong leadership, systems thinking, and project management.
- 5+ years of enterprise application development experience.
- Hands-on IT experience in 24/7 manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of source code management and relational DB design.
Responsibilities
- Lead MES architecture for Siemens Opcenter across global sites.
- Define design standards and development practices for MES projects.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and specs.
- Ensure integration between MES, ERP, and shop floor systems.
- Deliver end-to-end manufacturing digital ecosystem with clear documentation.
