Job summary

Biogen in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer I to support the Syncade system administration within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring system reliability and driving continuous improvement initiatives with a strong focus on operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a background in automation engineering, specifically within biopharmaceutical settings, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5–8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of automation engineering experience in a regulated environment (GMP preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Syncade/MES Infrastructure and workflows.
• Strong understanding of GxP compliance and change control processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as system administrator for Syncade, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ensure system availability and performance to support GMP manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency.
