Job summary

Penumbra, Inc. in Alameda, California, seeks a Senior MES Functional Analyst to lead implementations and enhancements of Manufacturing Execution Systems. The role bridges business units, functional groups, and IT to improve manufacturing processes and data integrity.

You will enable MES adoption by training users, documenting requirements, and guiding design activities. This position is on-site with a focus on Camstar MES deployments and continuous improvement across QS and ERP interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; 8+ years of experience or equivalent
• Experience deploying Camstar MES systems
• Solid experience documenting MES software workflows and specs
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Utilize MES expertise to model business processes and roll out MES modules.
• Architect and implement solutions to improve process efficiency and accuracy for MES.
• Advise business units on best practices and system improvements to drive MES adoption.
• Train users and super-users and perform knowledge transfer for automation and optimization.
• Gather and document requirements, formulate use cases, and participate in solution design.
