Job summary

Connor Group seeks a Senior - Mergers & Acquisitions to lead financial due diligence and advisory projects for buy-side and sell-side engagements. You will work with client teams, senior executives, and target company personnel to identify deal risks, validate projections, and refine closing mechanics.

The role requires 2–5 years in public accounting or TAS, with Big 4 experience preferred and CPA continuing certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of public accounting experience.
• Big 4 or large firm TAS experience a plus.
• CPA preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and accounting due diligence for buy-side or sell-side engagements.
• Identify and communicate critical deal issues and benchmarks to client management.
• Challenge assumptions related to future financial projections.
• Identify critical post-closing matters to improve profitability and cash flows.
• Interact with target company and client personnel; review due diligence reports.
