Job summary

Lowe's Mooresville headquarters is seeking an experienced Associate Merchant Lead to drive product strategy and category performance. You will lead an Associate Merchant, guide recruitment and development, and manage vendor relationships to optimize assortment and profitability.

You will perform market analysis, identify trends, and coordinate with inventory, marketing, finance, and corporate merchants to implement promotional strategies and ensure accurate product information across marketing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in retail merchandising, category management, assortment planning, vendor negotiations, and financial performance in a large retailer, B2B distributor, or comparable industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead an Associate Merchant and assist with recruiting, selection, development, and performance management.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and localization opportunities to drive strategy for assigned product categories.
• Execute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual product line reviews or business reviews to assess performance and align strategies.
• Provide feedback on product performance and customer feedback to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with inventory, marketing, finance, and corporate merchants to drive product management initiatives and promotional strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing on visual presentation and development for product packaging and promotions.
