Overview

The Senior Merchandising Product Coordinator is a senior member of the Merchandising Product Coordinator team responsible for elevating the skills, consistency, and output quality of the Product Coordinator group. This role works hands-on with Product Coordinators to train, coach, and troubleshoot day-to-day product lifecycle work, while continuously improving the processes the team relies on.

This position oversees the Merchandising Product Coordinator boards within Monday.com to make sure product changes and requests keep moving through the pipeline, following up on stalled items, clarifying next steps, and helping Product Coordinators use the system correctly. It is not responsible for building or administering Monday.com as a standalone project management platform; the focus is on the people and the process, with the board serving as the tool that keeps their work visible and on track.

What you will need
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience as a Merchandising Product Coordinator, or equivalent product data / merchandising experience, strongly preferred.
  • Experience training, coaching, or mentoring others in a professional setting preferred.
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms preferred.
  • Experience developing or maintaining SOPs, process documentation, or training materials preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
How you will make an impact
  • Training & Development
    • Serve as the primary hands-on trainer and coach for Product Coordinators, working directly alongside them on day-to-day tasks.
    • Lead onboarding and training for new Product Coordinators, ensuring they understand product data standards, tools, and workflows.
    • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process guides, checklists, and training materials for the Product Coordinator role.
    • Deliver refresher and skill-building training when processes, systems, or responsibilities change.
    • Identify individual and team skill gaps and recommend or deliver targeted coaching.
  • Process Improvement
    • Evaluate existing Product Coordinator processes and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or eliminate unnecessary steps.
    • Continuously improve workflows as business requirements, systems, and team responsibilities evolve.
    • Document current-state and future-state processes and maintain accurate process documentation.
    • Identify recurring issues and determine whether the right fix is training, process clarification, or a workflow adjustment.
    • Partner with Merchandising leadership and subject matter experts to identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Monday.com Board Oversight
    • Monitor Product Coordinator boards in Monday.com to ensure product changes and tasks are moving through the pipeline without stalling.
    • Follow up directly with Product Coordinators on overdue, stalled, or unclear items and help resolve blockers.
    • Coach Product Coordinators on proper day-to-day use of boards, statuses, and task updates.
    • Flag recurring bottlenecks or missing information to leadership and help implement fixes.
  • Communication & Coordination
    • Serve as a go-to point of contact for Product Coordinators’ day-to-day process and workflow questions.
    • Communicate process changes, updates, and expectations clearly to the Product Coordinator team.
    • Work closely with Merchandising leadership to understand priorities and translate them into clear guidance for Product Coordinators.
    • Build strong working relationships across departments to support smooth handoffs.
