US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Sr Analyst, Merchandising Finance to partner with Finance and Merchandising leaders to forecast, analyze performance, and translate data into actionable insights across a broad merchandising portfolio.

The role focuses on forecasting, planning, and reporting for Merchandising Finance, with exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to influence pricing, vendor economics, and gross margin.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant finance, FP&A, accounting, or analytics experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven insights.
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and performance drivers.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, ownership, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting, annual planning, and period-end reporting for Merchandising Finance.
• Lead CES reporting, decks, planning, forecasting, and recurring deliverables.
• Analyze performance to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses for initiatives and margin opportunities.
• Prepare executive-ready reporting and presentations on performance and risks.
• Improve and automate financial processes and tools using Excel and analytics tech.
