Job summary

Sysco is seeking a finance professional to support merchandising and commercial finance initiatives by partnering with Operations leadership to improve profitability, efficiency, and cost performance.

This role creates reporting suites, develops KPIs, and provides insights to FP&A on monthly and quarterly results vs plan, while supporting AOP for US Foodservice and ongoing business reviews. Strong VBA/Excel/Tableau skills are required to build scalable reports.

Qualifications

• BA or equivalent with 5+ years experience in reporting development, FP&A, analytics and financial modeling.
• 5+ years corporate experience in reporting development, FP&A, analytics, and financial modeling.
• Strong business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Create reporting suites that provide actionable insights for Finance and Business teams.
• Partner with field finance teams to develop KPIs that explain performance and enable proactive P&L management.
• Deliver business insights to corporate FP&A on monthly and quarterly results versus plan and forecast.
• Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the US Foodservice organization.
• Support the monthly and quarterly business review process.
• Identify margin, cost, and efficiency opportunities.
• Conduct ad-hoc analytics and financial modeling to support decision-making.
• Support business transformation metrics tracking and link outcomes to P&L results.
• Use VBA and other tools to build standardized Excel reporting with flexibility for multi-dimensional use.
• Apply data analytics to develop conclusions and present financial and operational insights for timely executive-level decisions.
• Develop strategic recommendations for business problems and opportunities using data analytics and predictive modeling.
