Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Merchandiser for Sport style Core Apparel in the US market.

You will develop and execute profitable channel-specific product strategies, manage line architecture, and leverage insights to guide assortment decisions and go-to-market plans. You will collaborate with global teams, drive seasonal processes, and lead cross-functional initiatives to grow the brand footprint while maintaining brand alignment and financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in Merchandising or Product Management in Wholesale or Retail.
• Strong analytical skills and business sense.
• Will travel 20-30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a channel-specific product strategy that drives profitable growth, strengthens brand equity, and delivers a consistent consumer experience.
• Create, present, and manage seasonal line architecture and assortment plans that align with Sportsyle Core Business Unit objectives and pricing strategies.
• Leverage consumer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and performance data to inform assortment decisions, forecasts, pricing, and go-to-market steps.
• Lead the seasonal pre-line process, identify product opportunities, and refine assortments to meet customer and market needs.
• Partner with Global BUs and Product Line Management to reflect regional needs in seasonal offerings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Marketing, and Merchandising to align on strategies and go-to-market plans.
• Plan, forecast, and manage channel assortments to optimize positioning, margins, and sell-through.
• Own range selection and sampling for seasonal product ranges.
• Drive go-to-market execution through customer meetings, product presentations, and launches.
• Lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects to grow the channel and brand.
