Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in merchandise planning, allocation, inventory management, or related analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI, reporting, or databases preferred.
• Power BI, SQL, and data modeling experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial merchandise plans across levels including sales, GM, receipts, inventory, markdowns and open-to-buy.
• Build pre-season plans accounting for compressed selling windows and calendar shifts.
• Reforecast sales, inventory, margin, and receipts during the season based on trends.
• Partner with Merchandising, IT, Distribution, Logistics, Store Operations, Finance, and Real Estate.
• Analyze SKU/department/store performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Prepare weekly/ad hoc reporting and post-season analyses with actionable recommendations.
• Identify process enhancements to improve planning and forecasting efficiency.
