Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead complex data center and mission-critical construction projects in the Austin market. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure high-quality turnover for critical facilities.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of PM experience in commercial or MEP construction, with data center or mission-critical project background preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within commercial, MEP, mechanical, electrical, or mission-critical construction.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction systems.
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP project execution from preconstruction to turnover.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire protection, and related building systems.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cost controls, procurement, change management, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, procurement plans, and critical-path activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate closely with MEP Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, commissioning teams, vendors, and client representatives.
• Manage procurement and delivery of major equipment and long-lead materials.
• Identify project risks and develop proactive solutions to protect schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.
• Lead project meetings and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support startup, testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and turnover of critical systems.
• Maintain accurate project reporting and provide leadership with visibility into project performance.
• Promote strong safety, quality, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
