Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join the MEP team on our Mount Prospect, IL project. This is a full-time, in-person position working to oversee mechanical and electrical systems from pre-construction through close-out.

You will supervise all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors, coordinate schedules and budgets, and ensure documentation and reporting are completed to project standards on mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.
• Extensive experience managing the construction of data centers and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control.
• Strong ability to manage relationships with owners’ representatives, architects, engineers, and clients, while supervising subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical and electrical construction for Mission Critical facilities and related projects.
• Supervise all Mechanical and Electrical Trade contractors and vendors involved in the project.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation for mechanical and electrical systems from pre-construction through project close-out.
