Job summary

Eastern Contractors Corporation is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead complex industrial and data center projects across the Southeast. You will oversee estimating, procurement, coordination, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems from planning through startup and closeout.

The role emphasizes collaboration with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams, guiding budgets, schedules, and risk management to deliver high‑performance facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5-8+ years of MEP construction, estimating, project management, or preconstruction experience.
• Experience with reading drawings, specs, and design documents for industrial or complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP construction sequencing, procurement, cost control, and coordination.
• Ability to travel as project needs require and work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction, estimating, procurement, coordination, and bid activities for complex MEP projects.
• Manage MEP scopes from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and equipment selections.
• Monitor cost, schedule, quality, safety, and overall project performance.
• Drive commissioning, turnover, and closeout documentation.
• Resolve procurement, design, and field coordination challenges before they impact project performance.
