Our client, Belmont-based MEP engineering firm, seeks a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience focused on HVAC and plumbing systems. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams from concept through completion.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, PE license in Mechanical Engineering is preferred/required depending on project responsibilities, and proficiency with Autodesk Revit and energy modeling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive MEP design experience with HVAC/plumbing focus.
• PE license in Mechanical Engineering (CA) preferred/required by project responsibilities.
• Experience with Revit for mechanical coordination and documentation.
• Knowledge of Building Codes, energy requirements, and industry standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop mechanical building-system designs and coordinate HVAC/plumbing with other disciplines.
• Prepare equipment selections, layouts, calculations, specs, schedules, and construction docs.
• Evaluate requirements, building conditions, codes to develop practical mechanical solutions.
• Participate in field investigations, design reviews, coordination meetings, and construction support.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of mechanical deliverables and support documentation processes.
