PTS Advance, an established engineering firm, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design for commercial and institutional projects in Austin, TX. Join a collaborative team delivering high-quality MEP solutions and take ownership of design development from concept through construction documents.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in mechanical/HVAC within MEP consulting or building design, strong codes knowledge, and proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD. PE is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of mechanical/HVAC engineering experience within MEP consulting or building design.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, codes, and building design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform mechanical/HVAC design for commercial and institutional building projects.
• Develop HVAC systems from conceptual design through construction documents.
• Perform heating and cooling load calculations and equipment selections.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, electrical, plumbing, structural, and other disciplines.
• Review project requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to develop and coordinate mechanical designs.
