Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction, a leading national contractor with North Dakota presence, is recruiting an experienced MEP Manager for a large project in the Fargo, ND area. The MEP Manager will coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection from design coordination through completion and closeout, ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 6+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience.
• 5+ years of experience design or project management experience.
• LEED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project to ensure timely and quality results; plan, schedule, and coordinate MEP work including supervision of design and progress.
• Review plans for constructability and cost feasibility; complete project risk assessments.
• Analyze and manage MEP progress, costs, and budgets; prepare accurate quantity surveys.
• Build and facilitate collaborative team processes among project participants; develop RFPs and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Liaison to owner, project team, and quality control manager to ensure QA/QC standards are met.
• Other duties as assigned.
