A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems on diverse projects. The role requires strong leadership and expertise in MEP systems, ensuring quality and compliance. With 5-7 years of commercial/industrial construction experience and proficiency in both MS Office and BIM processes, the successful candidate will provide training, review compliance, and coordinate with various stakeholders. The position involves travel up to 65% and focuses on optimizing project delivery and adherence to standards.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial construction.
In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction methods, building codes, and industry standards.
Valid Driver's License required.
Responsibilities
Review and approve shop drawings and installation procedures.
Train field teams on MEP best practices and quality-focused execution.
Coordinate system shutdowns between trades and stakeholders.
Support planning and scheduling of MEP work.
Oversee MEP contractor work for compliance with project specifications.
Partner with BIM teams for constructability and coordination.
Collaborate with commissioning teams for system testing and compliance.
Stay current on industry standards and drive continuous improvement.
