Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the MEP team at our project in Franklin Furnace, OH. This full-time, in-person role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience and 5+ years in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing pre-construction.

The selected candidate will communicate with vendors and clients, procure subcontracts, and coordinate project deliverables. A commitment to excellence and detailed-oriented project management is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing pre‑construction experience.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of MEP systems and equipment.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with electrical and mechanical equipment vendors, design engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Procure electrical and mechanical subcontracts and equipment.
• Coordinate equipment submittals and assist with cost estimates.

Skills

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing pre‑construction experience

Ability to read and understand electrical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and civil plans

Good communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management
