Job summary

Turner Construction Co. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced MEP/Engineering professional to manage, evaluate, and coordinate mechanical and electrical systems.

The role ensures on‑time project completion, safety, budget adherence, and adherence to contract documents. The incumbent will lead the project team, coordinate with subcontractors and owner representatives, manage budgets and schedules, and contribute to the turnover process through commissioning and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of four years of engineering experience, or equivalent combination.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational ability.
• Demonstrated leadership to develop a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Turner project team, subcontractors, owner's consultants and representatives to ensure optimal alignment and efficient systems installation.
• Prepare and manage the contract item list for components and systems to ensure ROJ dates align with the project schedule.
• Participate in schedule update meetings and provide the latest information for accurate scheduling.
• Evaluate and manage RFI processing.
• Manage budget including review and negotiation of change orders with understanding of subcontractor finances.
• Supervise and mentor Assistant MEP Engineers.
• Co‑lead the MEP Coordination Process with the VDC Engineer to ensure compliance with design, operation and maintenance standards.
