Job summary

XL Construction Corporation seeks an experienced MEP Coordinator in Milpitas, CA to partner with the Project Manager and Superintendent on planning and daily execution of complex projects.

You will lead MEP coordination, drive constructability reviews, and manage field QA/QC and startup activities across HVAC, piping, electrical and life-safety systems while ensuring seamless collaboration with design teams and clients.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in construction with a significant focus on MEP systems.
• Able to read ITBs and contract drawings to understand systems.
• Proficient with MEP safety and QC processes.
• Experience with design-build/design-assist projects preferred.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP coordination meetings from concept design to final inspections.
• Coordinate preconstruction design review and constructability analysis.
• Manage MEP field QA/QC and punchlist programs.
• Troubleshoot installation and startup challenges across disciplines.
• Train staff and assist design teams with system options analysis.
