Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks an experienced MEP engineer to support data center projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems onsite with clients and consultants.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical/MEP, 3+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of MEP codes. Onsite at client sites in Georgia with potential travel, offering $110k–$125k yearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, MEP Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of MEP engineering or construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (electrical distribution, HVAC, and controls).
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Knowledge of applicable MEP codes, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of MEP systems across data center projects from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls systems.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs for project compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor MEP installations, progress, schedules, risks, and quality requirements.
• Support critical systems (switchgear, UPS, generators, HVAC, BMS, SCADA, EPMS).
• Participate in site inspections, testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain QA/QC, commissioning, and technical documentation (issue logs, punch lists).
• Support technical changes, project closeout, as-built docs, turnover packages.
• Ensure MEP systems meet codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
