Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking an MHT Behavioral Specialist to provide direct patient care for individuals with emotional or psychiatric disorders. You will support the milieu, mentor staff, and help implement treatment plans in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires CPR certification and assaultive behavior management training.
• Minimum 2 years clinical behavioral health experience; 4 years as Mental Health Tech preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with emotional or psychiatric disorders.
• Train and mentor new and current staff; orient patients and employees.
• Participate in treatment planning and monitor progress with the treatment team.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and de-escalate conflicts as needed.
• Support administrative tasks and maintain documentation.
