SR. MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (Telehealth Therapist)

(Full Time) - YONKERS, NY, US

Description:

University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, is seeking a licensed clinician responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, supportive counseling, and therapy to adults experiencing mental health conditions. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about various treatment modalities and community resources to address issues presented in the treatment plan. They should be licensed in Social Work or Psychology and have experience in inpatient, outpatient, or private practice settings. Reporting to the Director/Asst. Director of Behavioral Health, they will collaborate with the Medical Director on treatment plans.

Requirements:

• A NY State LCSW or LMSW license or a Ph.D. in Psychology with a NY State license, with at least 5 years of practice experience.
• Demonstrated experience delivering clinical interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal, technical, and organizational skills.
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred.
