Job summary

Red Oak Technologies is seeking a Senior Mendix Technical Consultant to join our rapidly growing low-code consulting practice. You will lead enterprise Mendix engagements from discovery through delivery while remaining hands-on with application development.

This player-coach role requires guiding architecture, mentoring developers, and driving solution quality to modernize business processes using Mendix and AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience.
• Mendix Advanced Developer Certification (Expert Certification is a plus).
• Experience leading enterprise Mendix implementations in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Strong experience designing workflows, integrations, automation, and data models.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring developers while remaining an active contributor.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise Mendix applications from discovery through production.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable low-code solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical consultant on client engagements, guiding architecture and platform best practices.
• Build workflows, integrations, automation, and data models while remaining hands-on with Mendix development.
• Mentor Mendix developers through code reviews and guidance.
• Explain technical tradeoffs to balance scalability, timelines, and business value.
• Identify opportunities to expand client solutions and improve platform adoption.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution and client communication.
