PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Design Engineer - MEMS Sensors in Sunnyvale, CA, to drive the design and continuous improvement of MEMS pressure and acceleration sensors. You will lead simulation, design, fabrication, test and evaluation efforts for new and existing MEMS products.

The role requires deep MEMS expertise, collaboration with production and other functions, and the ability to guide process improvements using DOE and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years MEMS design engineering experience with tolerance analysis and metrology.
• Experience in MEMS design, simulation, fabrication, test and characterization.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, or modify MEMS sensors under lead engineer guidance.
• Simulate, design, fabricate, test, and evaluate MEMS sensors.
• Collaborate with MEMS production for fabrication and packaging.
• Perform failure analyses to determine root cause and implement solutions.
• Apply Design of Experiments to improve manufacturing processes.
• Interpret drawings and specs; perform engineering calculations and testing.
• Create and maintain mechanical drawings and specifications for components and assemblies.
• Provide technical leadership and training on products and applications.
• Guide materials, processes and applications in MEMS design.
