Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, CA seeks a Sr. Principal Product Engineer to lead MEMS probe technology development for wafer test applications. You will influence roadmaps, evaluate materials, and drive reliability, manufacturability, and performance across the product life cycle.

This senior role requires deep technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration with PM, Marketing, Manufacturing, and R&D, and a track record of delivering complex engineering programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's; or a PhD with 3 years.
• Experience with MEMS, probe cards, or wafer test preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, JMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of MEMS-based vertical probe card products.
• Define product requirements and technology roadmaps with PM and Marketing.
• Evaluate feasibility of emerging customer requirements and identify solutions.
• Lead evaluation, characterization, and qualification of new materials and processes.
• Drive reliability, manufacturability, and performance improvements across the product life cycle.
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
