Qualifications

  • At least 5 years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • At least 5 years of professional or military experience.
  • 5+ years working with Data & AI tech including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database or Storage.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
  • Experience presenting to technical and non-technical executives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Memory strategy for AWS hardware infrastructure.
  • Navigate Memory industry trends and translate to initiatives and requirements.
  • Identify tech trends and drive supplier roadmaps; execute on strategic initiatives.
  • Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies to meet business objectives and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Provide weekly core-team updates and monthly executive updates; manage vendor escalations.
  • Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

This individual will lead the strategic development of our highly complex memory portfolio to better meet our customers' rapidly growing infrastructure needs. Successful candidates will bring strong knowledge of Semiconductor supply chains and proven ability to manage complex negotiations, program manage cross-functional teams, and effectively operate at any level of the organization (up to senior executives). Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our Memory strategy for AWS hardware infrastructure.
  • Navigate the Memory industry and technology trends, translating to specific initiatives and requirements for our infrastructure strategy.
  • Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
  • Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationship with suppliers.
  • Responsible to provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.
  • Present to senior leadership via written narratives.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
