Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced engineer to support the production of water filtration membranes at the Minnetonka facility. The role involves mentoring process engineers, providing multi-line operation support, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing supply chain.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain (preferred).
• Experience with manufacturing of water filtration products.
• Experience in process control.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and develop process engineers on the team.
• Provide engineering support for operation of multiple production lines, including day to day troubleshooting and performance tracking.
• Own the value stream creation and updates within your scope.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, quality, maintenance, sales, marketing, and other teams to meet goals on schedule and budget.
• Collect and analyze data to drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Create and update bill of materials, routings, and new part numbers.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to meet key production metrics.
• Troubleshoot equipment/production issues across mechanical, chemical, electrical, and controls domains.
• Develop, write, and review new process documentation.
• Potential for on-call or extended hours support.
• Assist in digitization efforts and capital project rollout.
• Train and develop process engineers across the plant.
