Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our cloud product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, experience with cloud technologies, and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to the development of cloud products and services within our Kubernetes ecosystem.
2. Collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap.
3. Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
4. Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our products.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with programming in Python, Golang.
• 5-10 years of experience in software development.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with OpenStack/DevStack is also a plus.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and a willingness to learn about cloud computing and virtualization.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience developing distributed systems and SaaS products.
• Knowledge of data networking essentials.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Must have authorization to work in the US.
