Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Senior level and Advanced Production Melt Shop Operator (Caster, AOD, Gate and Crane) to join our flagship aerospace metals plant. The role offers $28/hr. - $33/hr. plus shift differentials and a strong quarterly bonus of 12%.

You will perform furnace and melting operations, operate the caster system, cranes, ladles, and perform maintenance and data entry while following safety instructions and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent.
• Foundry or related manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety practices and work instructions.
• Perform melt shop tasks including furnace operations, AOD, Concast, Gates, Crane, Shearline and inspection.
• Maintain furnaces for maximum output and monitor charge weights.
• Take samples and prepare for metallurgical lab testing.
• Operate crane for tapping and transferring activities.
• Enter data into computer database and maintain records.
