Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in complex medical device development from concept through commercialization. You will partner with engineering, quality, regulatory, marketing, operations, and external suppliers to define scope, plans, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation.

The role focuses on governance, management reporting, resource planning, and executive communication to align with BD’s portfolio priorities and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional medical device or regulated projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks and stakeholder communications.
• Strong knowledge of project governance and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product development and sustaining engineering projects.
• Develop integrated plans, schedules and budgets; forecast resources and govern projects.
• Escalate risks, issues and critical decisions; ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare status updates and portfolio reports for leadership reviews.
• Ensure compliance with design control, regulatory, and quality systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and development partners to manage deliverables.
