Job summary

Rincon Search Group partners with a Western Connecticut MedTech manufacturer to hire a Manufacturing Engineer III or Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This role emphasizes manufacturing engineering, process development, and technical leadership with strong CNC/machining experience.

The candidate will own projects from development through production readiness, apply tooling and precision manufacturing methods, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong manufacturing engineering and hands-on mechanical background.
• Experience with CNC, machining, tooling, fixtures, and precision manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-visibility manufacturing and advanced technology projects.
• Take ownership of projects from development through production readiness.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Apply CNC, machining, tooling, and mechanical expertise to solve manufacturing problems.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to drive projects forward.
• Lead technical meetings and cross-functional project teams.
• Document process parameters, work instructions, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support process development, measurement, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Help transition innovative technologies from prototype to production.
• Provide technical mentorship and training to engineers and technicians.
• Manage multiple projects with ownership and organization.
