Shermco Industries is seeking an experienced Senior Medium Voltage Cable Termination Technician to perform terminations and cabling work on medium/high voltage systems (5kV and up) in the Powder Springs, GA area. The role involves field execution, troubleshooting, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Ideal candidates will have relevant electrical qualifications, certifications, and hands-on experience with testing equipment such as Megger, Hi-Pot, and TDR, along with strong English

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electrical Technology or military experience required.
• ,

Responsibilities

• Perform terminations and cabling repairs on medium/high voltage distribution systems (5kV and up).
• Build and splice medium voltage cables.
• Install additional power feeds to facilities and connect transformers, junction boxes, and switches.
• Open high voltage switches to de-energize lines and test with grounding devices for safety.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of transformers, capacitors, insulators, breakers and other HV components.
• Identify and locate failed cables for repair and perform field troubleshooting.
• Work in or near hot lines as needed with proper equipment.
• Comply with OSHA and site-specific safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Site Management.
