Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a skilled actuary to join the government services pharmacy actuarial team in a full-time role in Center Square, PA. This role focuses on quarterly forecasting and monthly valuation for Part D business, modeling and quantifying risks for MAPD, SNP, and PDP products, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include 2+ SOA exams toward ASA, a bachelor's degree, and health insurance experience.

Qualifications

At least 2 SOA exams passed and working toward ASA designation.
Bachelor’s degree along with 2+ years related experience.
Prior Health Insurance experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in Excel.
Experience working with large and detailed data sets.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Solid technical/analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Analyze the impact of proposed legislative or regulatory reform.
Contribute to the monthly financial reporting process and analyze forecasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Actuarial, Government Affairs, Finance, Product and Underwriting.
Take ownership of assigned projects, manage deadlines and work independently.
Effectively communicate and collaborate across teams.
Act as a subject matter expert on assigned projects and integrate results with others.
Anticipate matters that affect financial results and provide sound recommendations.
Leverage technical skills to design and achieve business solutions.
