Intermountain Health is seeking a reimbursement analyst for our Peaks Regional Office in Colorado. This full-time, fully remote role focuses on Medicare/Medicaid settlements, cost reports, and complex reimbursement responsibilities for 2+ hospitals.

You will collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle, and leadership to optimize reimbursements. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and experience with cost reporting, audits, and settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with four years’ experience; education verified.
• Master’s degree with two years experience; education verified.
• Proficient computer skills including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and Internet.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine and non-routine tasks requiring in-depth analysis; identifies alternatives and recommends plans.
• Manages reimbursement processes and coordinates with hospital finance staff as needed.
• Prepares monthly Medicare/Medicaid settlements and cost reports using compliant methodologies.
• Reviews audits, files appeals, and communicates regulatory impacts to leadership.
• Mentors staff; manages scope, deadlines, and project deliverables across sites.
